Neil Gowan
Originally from London, England, Neil began his golfing career at age 12. After a successful junior career, Neil accepted a Golf Scholarship at Midland Junior College in Texas. During his two years at Midland Junior College, Neil was on the NJCAA 1st All-American, All-Conference, and All-Region Teams and received the MVP Award.
After being recruited by the College of Charleston, Neil continued his college golf career during his junior and senior years. Neil graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
Combining his love for competition and extensive knowledge of the game, Neil became Level 2 Certified in Golf Coaching and Mechanics through the Titleist Performance Institute. He then attained his PGA Class A Professional certification in 2014.
His certifications, combined with years of experience in competitive golf, enable Neil to understand all aspects of golf, including the game’s technical, physical, and mental requirements for players of all ages and abilities.
With the with the Trackman 4 golf monitor, Neil can highlight the technical aspects of each player’s swing and ball flight and applies that knowledge for the best performance on the course. Due to his unwavering commitment to junior golf, he was consistently recognized as a Top 50 US Kids Coach. Therefore, in 2022, he was awarded US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Coach.

Brandon Ray has given over 20,000 golf lessons to men, women, and children of all ages in the past 20 years of teaching. Students have earned college golf scholarships, won and continue to win numerous tournaments at the junior, club, and professional level.
Brandon runs Lowcountry Lessons Academy at Patriots Point from “The Swing Shack,” a state-of-the-art learning center on the range featuring Flightscope Radar and V1 Video technology coupled with the best information in golf.
Brandon has studied under top teachers David Orr, Lynn Blake, and most recently George Gankas just to name few.
As an accomplished instructor Brandon recognizes that equipment affects motion and offers fitting services with Callaway and Mizuno.
